CadexLaw • Terms of Service

Use CadexLaw responsibly.

CadexLaw LLC is compliance software, not a law firm. Review these terms before using the templates, DMCA workflows, or automations. By using the product, you agree to every section below in addition to the Privacy Policy and DMCA Policy.

CadexLaw LLC is not a law firm

We operate as an Arizona-based software company. We are not licensed to practice law, and using CadexLaw does not create an attorney-client relationship.

  • All guidance in the product is educational. You remain responsible for confirming whether a template or workflow is appropriate for your matter.
  • Arizona Supreme Court Rule 31 and similar UPL rules in other jurisdictions limit what non-lawyers may do. We do not offer bespoke advice and we do not represent you before any tribunal.
  • Consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction before acting on any information produced by the app.

Template usage boundaries

CadexLaw supplies attorney-reviewed but generic documents. They are not customized for your facts.

  • You choose which templates or clauses to deploy; the software will not select them for you.
  • Follow the LegalZoom v. North Carolina consent judgment conventions: review blank samples before use, verify completeness, and obtain local counsel when needed.
  • Do not rely on CadexLaw for real-time legal determinations. The content is a starting point that requires your own review.

DMCA workflows & user responsibilities

CadexLaw enforces 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) inputs, but you are the declarant.

  • You must ensure all required elements (signature, work identification, location URLs, statements of good-faith and perjury) are accurate.
  • Misrepresentations can trigger liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). CadexLaw surfaces warnings, but you bear the risk for notices you send.
  • We provide optional attestations and review steps; declining them increases your risk.

Platform submission limitations

Many platforms ban automated notices or require proprietary web forms.

  • CadexLaw generates text for you to submit. We do not bypass reCAPTCHA or terms of service.
  • Only send a notice through a channel the platform authorizes. If the platform mandates a web form, copy-paste the generated text rather than auto-emailing.
  • Respect third-party rate limits and do not script mass takedown campaigns.

Email delivery safeguards

When CadexLaw emails a designated agent on your behalf, deliverability rules apply.

  • We use authenticated domains (SPF/DKIM and, where available, DMARC alignment).
  • Large-volume senders must maintain one-click unsubscribe and monitor Gmail/Yahoo 2024 spam thresholds.
  • We can suspend outbound email if your notices trigger high complaint rates.

Marketing, representations, and UDAP compliance

We make conservative claims to comply with FTC Section 5 and similar UDAP laws.

  • No guarantee of removals or outcomes. Platform responses are outside our control.
  • Branding references to “law” reflect the historical CadexLaw LLC name, not a status as a law firm.
  • Report any marketing statement you believe is inaccurate so we can correct it quickly.

Payments, license, and taxes

CadexLaw is sold through Whop (or other marketplaces) under a limited, non-transferable license.

  • Usage rights are personal to the purchaser. Do not resell or redistribute templates.
  • The buyer is responsible for VAT, GST, or similar taxes where required. We may collect and remit through OSS/MOSS or marketplace partners, but ultimate compliance remains with you.
  • If a jurisdiction imposes digital-services taxes on us directly, we may add those charges at checkout.

License grant & restrictions

What you are allowed to do with CadexLaw and equally important, what you are not.

  • Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service for your internal business purposes only.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure, or underlying ideas of the service or its models.
  • You may not use the service, its outputs, or related intellectual property to design, build, train, or improve any product or service that competes with, substantially mirrors, or could reasonably be viewed as an alternative to CadexLaw.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent security measures, usage limits, or rate limits, nor interfere with or degrade the integrity or performance of the service.
  • You retain ownership of Customer Data you upload. CadexLaw retains ownership of the service, templates, documentation, and all related IP. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to operate, secure, and improve the service as permitted by this Privacy Policy and your settings.
  • Any attempt to avoid, bypass, or improperly reduce applicable fees or charges for use of the service is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of liability & indemnity

CadexLaw is offered “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit aggregate liability to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

  • You agree to indemnify CadexLaw LLC, its members, and contractors against claims arising from your use of the generated materials or notices.
  • We may update these Terms when laws or platform rules change. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
  • For questions about these Terms, email support@cadexlaw.com.
